A few years ago I moved into a house located on the outskirts of Cracow. 5 rooms, corridors, stairs, and the son - who had surprisingly rapidly grown up - made the home ask for some living creatures. It was a cat that I thought of. I started exploring the field of cat breeding as well as my dreams, and it was then that I had this dream: kind of a tiger or kind of a cat strolls across my living room, looking dignified it comes up to the window pane through which one can see the garden, scrutinizes the garden, then turns towards me and smiles. The way it happens in dreams.
I decided to find not "such a cat", but "this cat", THIS VERY cat from my dream. And I did find him! He is a maine coon. His name is Vinci. I brought him from the Helga Teetz Cat Breeder, Langstteichs, Germany. Now I obviously cannot imagine living without cats. They are my friends. I talk to them. Sometimes I ask them for advice. Whenever I ask questions related to difficult matters, they remain silent, little cunning things... I try to learn from cats - observing them I discover a thing or two about the human nature. And I try to use my backbone the way the cats do.
Obviously, I dream about rearing the Most Beautiful Cat of the World. Each kitten being born could be this most beautiful one... I am fond of getting another litter. First they are like downy balls, then... watching their growth is a great thing; the role of play in their lives, their liking one another so much. I also like to watch the kittens' mother patiently acquainting the little things with various skills.
I often laugh my head off when I hear these kiddies whose whiskers
have just started growing purr at their little sisters or brothers
while keeping one of their paws on a piece of meat. Then they say
"It's mine, don't touch it! I am a dangerous predator!" Apart from
emotions, living conditions are also important. I try to provide
them with the best possible things. They have a lot of space at
their disposal, good food, medical care, immunization, and medical
examinations carried out on time. And my love, too. I think they
are happy. And I cannot imagine my life and my home without them
pattering behind me on the stairs, sitting at the computer or
watching TV news with me.
